- Pneumatic Chucks
We offer a line of pneumatic high precision
sliding jaw chucks which can be used for many applications.
Chucking repeatability is up to 0.0015mm with accurate thin wall turning
and grinding, adjustable pneumatic power, and quick acting operation.
- Turning
Air Chucks - Typically used on lathes (manual and CNC). Sizes to 10 inch
diameter. Speeds to 6000 RPM
- Grinding
Chucks - Essentially a sealed turning chuck for more difficult grinding
operations.
- Milling
(Stationary) Chucks - Typically used on horizontal or vertical mills to
hold cylindrical parts stationary for work to be completed. Sizes to
8 inch diameter.
- Material
Handling Chucks (Grippers) - Often used with robotic arms for pick and
place type applications. Sizes to 3 inch diameter.
- Diaphragm
Chucks - Repeatability within 0.0005 mm for super precision machining.
Stable clamping over 8000 RPM standard with a special model to allow 11000
RPM. Ideal for CNC turning, vertical machining and precise grinding

We offer arbor motors which are compact(more
horsepower in a smaller frame), light
weight, square motors ideal for use as direct saw arbor motors or
custom arbor motors, designed for mounting cutters directly on the
spindle shaft. Special shaft extensions are normal, with speeds
to 7200 RPM, and horsepowers to 18 HP. These motors can be
mounted horizontally, or vertically. Motors are available with a
dc or patented pneumatic brake for excellent reliability. A gearbox design with a saw flange output
shaft is available for lower speed cutting applications (mild steel,
tool steel, etc....). A high speed saw motor spindle is
available with speeds ranging from 7000 RPM to 24,000 RPM.
Spindle motors are typically used in high
speed routing for woodworking, aluminum cutting, or plastic cutting.
Speeds vary using a variable frequency drive from 7,000 to 24,000 RPM. Horsepowers to 16 HP with the FimecŪ
design and 15 HP with the original Ekstrom-Carlson automatic tool

motors are fan cooled with greased for life bearings. Motors

Metric Frame Motors. These motors have dimensions directly
interchangeable with other brands of standard IEC metric frame motors.

Volstro Variable Angle Milling Head. CAT40 Attachment:
High strength, light weight mounting system. Machined from 7075-T651 aluminum
alloy. Sealed double-row bearing system. Four full rows of bearing support for
the input shaft & angular head. Full 360 deg directional adjustment for all
attachments. Multi-angle head: The multi-angle head with straight housing is
used to mill chamfers and angles with standard endmills. It also mills internal
grooves and keyways. Angle is adjustable for 0-90 deg with 360 deg rotation. A
360 deg dial is mounted on the housing. 2500 RPM Uses ER-16 collets to 3/8"
capacity Spline driver & spline shaft Hardened and ground spindle and gears.

Volstro Right Angle Milling Head. Included is an
Adjustable Right Angle Milling Head, # 15000-1, CAT 40, with the 6"
Right Angle Head Attachment, Volstro # 4000. Recommended 2500 RPM, Head
ratio is 1:1. Also, there are 3 ETM ER 16 Spring Collets, 1/8", 3/16",
and 3/8". There is a bracket, a metal bushing and a wrench that also
come with this unit. Instructions included as well. All parts are
in very good condition either lightly used or brand new.
